The announcement of a proposed Indian military base on the island of Assomption, caused alarm amongst the majority of the Seychelles nationals. Our sovereignty as a nation was definitely being threatened! Putting aside our differences, we came together as patriots, to stand and defend our territory. The Organisation was formed with the main purpose to defend and ensure the protection and survival of the Seychelles and Seychellois, whilst at the same time ensure that our territory and zone remain a zone of peace; free from any form of militarisation! Thus we go by the motto of; 'Friends to all and enemy to None!.
